Material Data Sheet
UFM1 modified with biotin via primary amine coupling resulting in modification of lysine residues as well as the N-terminus. Biotinylated Ufm1 can be detected using avidin-linked reagents for higher efficiency and detection sensitivity than with antibodies.
Stock:X mg/ml (X μM) in 50 mM HEPES pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 1mM DTT, 10% glycerol. Concentration varies by Lot#.
Purity:> 95% by SDS-PAGE
Use & Storage
Depending on experimental conditions and detection method, suggested in vitro concentrations for thiolester formation is 1 to 5 μM.
Store at -80°C once reconstituted. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
