His6-Ufc1
Price:
$120 $200
Quantity:
50 μg 100 μg
Data Sheet:
Stock:
X mg/ml (X μM) in 50 mM HEPES pH 7.5, 50 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol, 1 mM DTT. Actual concentration varies with lot number.
MW:

Purity:
> 95% by SDS-PAGE Ufc1 has been identified as the E2-like conjugating enzyme for the ubiquitin-like modifier, Ufm1 (UL-500). The protein was originally discovered in HEK293 cells by immunoprecipitation using FLAG-Uba5 (E-319), the E1-like activating enzyme of Ufm1. Ufc1 shares no homology to other E2 enzymes except for the region around the active site cysteine (Cys116) which is capable of
forming a thioester bond with Ufm1. This protein contains an N-terminal His6 tag.
Use & Storage
Use:
Typical enzyme concentration to support conjugation in vitro is 100 nM-1 μM depending on conditions.
Storage:
Store at -80°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Literature
