UbcH2/UBE2H
Price: $120.00
UbcH2/UBE2H
Price:
$120 $200
Quantity:
50 μg 100 μg
Data Sheet:
Stock:
X mg/ml (X μM) in 50 mM HEPES pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol. Actual concentration will vary with specific lot number.
MW:
17 kDa
Purity:
> 95% by SDS-PAGE This E2 enzyme encodes for the human homolog of the yeast Ubc8 gene. UbcH2 can conjugate ubiquitin to histone H2A in an E3-independent manner in vitro. This E2 enzyme is also involved in the ubiquitination of N-end rule pathway substrates, and can function in conjugation with the E3ligase enzyme. Additionally, UbcH2 may have a role in sepsis-induced muscle protein proteolysis and cancer-induced cachexia. Accession # NP_003335.
Use & Storage
Use:
Typical enzyme concentration to support conjugation in vitro is 100 nM-1 μM depending on conditions.
Storage:
Store at -80°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Literature
