A fluorogenic standard useful for quantitating assays monitoring amido-4-
methylcoumarin (AMC) release. These include ubiquitin-AMC (U-550), SUMO-1-AMC (UL-551), NEDD8-AMC (UL-552), ISG15-AMC (UL-553), and proteasome substrates (S-220, S-230, S-260, S-280). The concentration of the AMC released can be calculated from a standard curve prepared with AMC standards.

Use & Storage

Use: 
Serial dilute in reaction buffer to form a standard curve within the range of sensitivity for specific plate reader.
Recommend dilution series starting at 500nM AMC
The excitation and emission wavelengths of AMC are A360nm and A460nm
respectively. 
Storage: 
Store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
