p53 Ubiquitination Products

Figure 1A. Ubiquitination of p53 by the Hdm2 E3 ligase. The substrate protein p53 (SP-450) was ubiquitinated with Hdm2 (E3-200) using the p53 Conjugation Kit (K-200). Western blotting with a p53-specific monoclonal antibody (A-200) was performed to detect the formation of mono- and poly-ubiquitinated protein. Figure 1B. Deubiquitination of p53 by USP7 and USP8 enzymes. Poly-ubiquitinated p53 (SP-450) was then used as substrate for USP7 (E-518) and USP8 (E-520) and incubated at 37oC for 1 hour.
